So I haven't posted in almost a month and figured I should update on something. We are all still alive and waiting for Spring to make up it's mind all ready. The girls have loved going out to play on their bikes again and on the swing set. Too bad is it snowing again as I type this. We are so done with the cold.
Dacia loves school and is doing really well. This month they celebrated Dr Suess's birthday and their 100th day of kindergarten. Dacia is doing great on her sight words and learning to read. She learned to read Green Eggs and Ham, which was her first big book to read all the way through. It helps that the book had alot of her sight words in it. I can't believe she will soon be in first grade. Erik was pretty sad when he realized that, because he works evenings, when Dacia goes to school all day, he won't get to see her much.
Ashlyn is growing overnight. Every day she asks "did I get bigger last night". She loves to cook. In fact a few times she has gotten into the pantry and made her own little concoctions. The first one was to surprise dad when he was sick. It was pretty funny. She used a whole container of sprinkles. The second time, not so funny, when she put food coloring in the baking powder container. We decided that we need to cook with her more so she doesn't have to experiment on her own. She is a princess and would prefer to spend her day in dress up clothes, if we would let her.
Brylee is all over the place and unstoppable. This little girl is walking now, she has been for a while, i just hadn't blogged about it yet. She was a little later than my others walking, but she has sure made up for it and now almost runs to where she wants to go. It's so fun to have another midget running around. We are counting down the days that she can go to nursery at church. She is in that extremely difficult stage of not wanting to sit through classes.
Erik and I are just pluggin away and our same routine. I am still working part time at South Davis and still like it fot the most part. It's hard to believe that's it been almost 8 months since I went back to work. When i am not at work I am home being all domestic and love it. I have been doing lots of sewing for the girls and lots of yummy cooking (the scale will vouch for that). Erik is keeping busy at the hotel and also enjoys his time to be home with the girls.
Our big news of the month....we are under contract on our house. We will be moving next month. It's still kinda weird to me. We have lived here for 6 1/2 years and have brought 3 babies home here. We love our house and neighbors. Too bad it's too late to add that basement on our house. We really want more room to stretch out and we are looking forward to the new adventures that come. We start house hunting tomorrow and hope we find something fabulous to call home.

Ashlyn is 4
I am having a hard time believing that my little Ash is now 4 years old. In the fall she will hopefully start preschool then next year kindergarten. The time is going by so fast.
She is such a smarty pants. I love her comebacks, sometimes. She has been my biggest challenge lately, but I love her dearly.
This is Ashlyn opening her presents from me and Erik. We forgot to buy wrapping paper and what we do have is actually in my moms basement right now since we cleaned out some of our clutter. So her presents were wrapped in a blanket. She got some HSM dolls dressed in their prom dresses.
This is her new computer from Grandma. We were hoping that with the new Wii and her own little computer she would leave the laptop alone, no such luck. She still loves the internet.

We took the girls to the Temple open house in February. It was gorgeous! It was awesome to be in the Temple with them. They loved all the rooms and the beautiful chandeliers in the Celestial Room. Through the whole tour, from the time we got on the bus until we got back to our car, I just kept thinking our incredibly organized the church is. Everything went to smoothly. The girls were excited after the tour. Grandma had told them about the little bottles of water and they were patiently waiting for them.
