Erik had Thursday off, which is unusual around here, but since he worked Memorial Day he had some extra days off this week. We had another fun family night. I was a little jealous of everyones grills when we went up the canyon on Monday so we went and got one for us and bbq'd hot dogs in the park. Every little activity we have the girls tell us "this is the best day ever". I am glad that the little simple things make them so happy. But why don't we learn...we will still have to out do ourselves and keep buying bigger and better things for the girls. Crazy parents!

Memorial Day Fun
Erik ended up being called into work on Monday, but we still wanted to get out and have some family time before he had to go in. We decided to go up the canyon for a little hike and enjoy the outdoors. We went up Settlement Canyon here in Tooele, which I will add is right up the street. It's nice being so close to the moutains, maybe we will spend more time outdoors now...maybe.
The girls did pretty good hiking. A few complaints, but they will probably do it again. We stopped at a park at the campgrounds after our hike. We had a picnic and the girls got to play.

Updates
So I have been terrible with posting since we have moved, Erik just barely got our computer to hook up to my mom's internet and we really haven't had much going on, but I will update you on the happenings here.
First our house news...We had put an offer on a short sale house about 2 months ago, but figured nothing was going to happen with that, so we decided to build a new house with Fieldstone. After we got paperwork started on our build, we got a call from our agent saying that we most likely have the short sale and they aren't taking anymore offers on it, BUT we have no idea when we can close on it. So it's still a waiting game. We were able to back out of the Fieldstone build before we lost our earnest money, so that was good news. The short sale house has a fully finished basement and is in a great neighborhood, so it is worth the wait. It is hard to believe that Monday will be one month here in Tooele.
Dacia will be graduating Kindergarten at the end of the month. Where has the year gone? I will soon have a first grader. Crazy!
Ashlyn is keeping herself busy at grandma's usually getting into stuff or bugging Brylee. She really is a funny girl and can be so sweet.
Brylee has adjusted well, but we have had a rough week. She is teething, so she has been waking up more at night.
Erik and I are working away with the same ol' routine. He is home when I am at work and I am home when he is at work. I can't belive that I am coming up on my One year back to work in a couple months.
