Moving Sucks!

You don't realize how much stuff you actually have, until you have to put it all in a box and move it. Oh my gosh, it was such a huge task to get out of the house. It took alot more than the one loaded Uhaul to get everything out of there. But we keep telling ourselves that it will all be worth it in the end.

Here is our first house. We moved into it in Novemeber of 2002, when we were expecting Dacia. I can remember moving into this house with very little, a bed, a table and some had me down couches. 6 1/2 years and 3 kids later we were out of space and needing more room.

But that needed space is 3-4 months down the road. We have decied to build again. We are using the same builder that built our first home. Fieldstone has the best floor plans...they are so open and have no wasted space. They offer the ramblers in Tooele, so that's what we are building. We are excited to move forward with that process now that we are finally closed on the sale of our house.
For now we are bunking in the basement at my mom's house. We are still a little cluttered trying to find a spot for everything, but I promise it looks better than it did a few days ago.
The girls mattress is sitting on a frame of #10 cans (hey we are in limited space, we need to conserve).

Moving totally sucks!!! If I never had to move again it wouldnt break my heart. When we built our home Dean Audrey & I were all cramed in one little bedroom in my moms apt for several months (sucked) but it was totally worth in the end. Good Luck!!! Oh yea this is Lori Russell, what cute little girls you have.

I'm with you on the moving. You have to do what C and I did when we built our house. We lived with his parents for 2 months before our house was ready. It was great for them to let us but then having to move again in 2 months totally sucked. Good Luck I think it's hard to go back and live with parents when you're used to living on your own and doing things your way.

A new home. How exciting!! Good luck with everything. I am sure that your parents are so excited to have you move closer to them. Moving is a pain in the butt, but I sure hope that we can move closer to home in the next couple of years. Hope to see you this summer some time!
