Getting Organized!

So on my quest to get more organized I(we) have had many projects the last few weeks. My most recent task was the girls closet. There was a dresser in their room, but when we got the bunk bed there wasn't enough room for the dresser, so it got moved to the closet. The dresser was too tall for the closet and you couldn't hang clothes above it, so all the clothes were crammed on one side. So I installed a closet system. Yes I did it. Did you know I love power tools?

The girls each have their own set of drawers then there will be shelves in the middle of the closet. They were a little long so I have to have them cut. I am hoping that this will also help with the girls being able to help put away their own clothes and doing more chores around the house.
So after 2 trips to Lowe's and one more tomorrow we should be done with this project.
I really want to add these closet drawers and shelves to the back of our closet now. It needs some major organizing help, but I think I have tapped out the home improvement portion of our tax return, so I will have to wait.



Here is the top of their closet. I recently took away their toys putting them out of their reach. They have to ask for toys and when they are done with one bin they have to clean it up before they can get a new bin of toys. I know I am a mean mom, but you come clean my house after the girls have every toy out on their bedroom floor. They took forever to clean up their room so this makes it easier.
