Our little Ashlyn turned 3 yesterday. Wow time flies. She shouldn't be that old yet. We had a couple days of celebrating. Thursday night we went out to dinner as a family. We hadn't been out to a resturant as a family since before Brylee was born. Friday she got to open her present from her mommy & daddy (clothes & leap pad cartridges to go with the leap pad she got from my brother and his family)Today we had her party. Ashlyn loves Dora right now, so we had a Dora party, complete with Map, Backpack and a search for the Lost Treasure. The treasure was the other part of her present from me and Erik, tickets to Disney Princess on Ice next week.
No Dora party is complete without a Dora cake. I like to make cakes for my kids birthdays. They're not perfect, but I really enjoying making them.
She loved all her presents. She got a bike helmet and pads, which she needed because she is riding her bike better now. She also got Dora dolls, Dora movies, Dora game, ColorWonder coloring books with the markers & finger paints. And she got an Art Easel, which I think will be great since she is my wall artist.
Ashlyn had a great day. I love you Boo Boo!
