The girls have been super funny lately trying to understand the whole time frame thing. Everything we do Dacia is asking if it's day time or night time and why we are doing a day time thing at night. When we eat meals they have to make sure we are eating at the right time of day. The only thing that I have a hard time with is the fact that they wake up when the sun comes up because "it's day time mommy". Maybe we will have to invest in some darker curtains for their room; I am sure we will have problems with the early bedtime and the days getting longer.
Ashlyn has been obsessed with the days of the week. She is never right on what day it is, but she knows most of them. She keeps telling me that her birthday was on Tuesday and she tells me all about it. Or my personal favorite, your taking me to the pet store on Friday to get a cat and a dog. No chance Ash, but nice try.
Dacia is starting to learn to tell time though. She can figure out the hour, but doesn't know how to count very high yet so she doesn't know the minutes. When I was picking out a clock for the kitchen I specifically wanted one with numbers, although the wooden ones everyone is making right now with vinyl roman numerals are super cute, I wanted her to learn time with a regular clock. I found a big clock at Target and hung it by the kitchen table. Dacia can tell me "it's almost 6 o'clock mom".
